Surrey Grammar schools test children in Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal Reasoning, Maths and English in various combinations. Schools should be contacted individually for their entry procedures. Entry to some schools is by examination only but others also operate a catchment policy.

The Tiffin Grammar Schools require children to sit Verbal (50 mins) and Non-verbal Reasoning (50 mins) NFER multiple-choice papers. The examination is sat in late November in the school. Parents should attend the open evenings for details. Catchment does not apply.
